Abdul Matlub Ahmad, President of FBCCI, speaks at a press conference on ‘India Investrade-2015’, at the Federation Bhaban in the capital on Tuesday. The Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) on Tuesday demanded five percent cash incentive for three years in exporting electrical equipment and allocation of special economic zone (SEZ) for electrical industries. FBCCI, the country’s apex trade body, raised the demands at a press conference organised for announcing the ‘India Investrade-2015’, a three-day exposition for electrical and energy appliances, at the Federation Bhaban in the capital. The three-day fair of the Indian electrical and energy appliances will begin tomorrow (Thursday). FBCCI and the Indian High Commission jointly organised the press conference. FBCCI President Abdul Matlub Ahmad, other senior leaders of the organisation, First Secretary of the Indian High Commission Bijoy Silvaraj, and Vice President of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DCCI) Syab Chowdhury were present in the press conference. A multi-sectoral exposition on ‘India Investrade –2015 will be held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) at Agargaon in city on August 6 to 8 which will be formally inaugurated by Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu.
