A two-day seminar on ‘Bangladesh China Trade Finance: Role of Banks,’ organised jointly by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) – Bangladesh, ICC China and CCPIT, will start in Kunming, China tomorrow (August 21, 2015). A total of 44 senior bankers from 18 banks from Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Bank will participate at the seminar. Some 60 bankers of Chinese banks will also participate at the seminar. Mahbubur Rahman, President, ICC Bangladesh will inaugurate the seminar as chief guest while representative from ICC China will also attend. The main objective of the seminar is to understand and discuss on ICC Rules and Tools as well as the requirements of the central banks, country specific laws, gain knowledge about new provisions and changes that may impact trade between Bangladesh and China.
