Jiangsu, China-based Hi-jet Digital Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd, which sells its printers under the brand name Rodin, has launched its latest high-speed textile printer in India this month. The latest high-speed textile printer ‘Impression’ series is made with Japan’s Ricoh technology and is made for use in industrial fabric manufacturing by replacing the traditional flat screen printing and promoting the possibility of high quality digital textile printing at reduced cost. The textile printer can also be equipped with oven drying system and can reach highest productivity of up to 231 square metres per hour, while giving 1800 DPI resolution, the company said in a press release. Impression uses the fastest Kyocera print-head, which gives two colours/head with 112 mm width and resolution of 300 DPI. It achieves maximum spraying speed of 152 mm per minute with gray scale to achieve the perfect image performance. The textile printer carries the ink permeability filtration system which removes tiny bubbles to give continued stable and error-free printing. Further, the negative pressure system controlling features make the ink transfer much safer and smoother, while providing a clear indication of the ink condition in the big tank. Impression is of highest technical standard when compared to top brands from Europe and the US, according to the company.
