A four-day textile will begin next month to bring the latest technology, machinery and materials under one roof for local manufacturers. The ’16th Textech Bangladesh 2015 International Expo’ on textile and apparel technology, machinery and allied services would be held on September 02 at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC). CEMS-Global US Conference and Exhibition Management Services Ltd-in association with CEMS Bangladesh will organise the exhibition showcase. Textech exhibition series has become a brand held every year in Bangladesh, Brazil, Sri Lanka and Indonesia, organisers said. “The main focus of the showcase is to introduce the stakeholders of readymade garment industry to the latest development and the global trend of the industries so that they can compete and survive in the global market,” Meherun N Islam, President and Group Managing Director of CEMS-Global USA & Asia-Pacific said at a press conference held in the city. Textile technology show begins next month Two more exhibitions-‘9th Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show 2015′ and “22nd Dye+Chem Bangladesh 2015 Expo’ would also be held alongside the 16th Textech. Organisers expressed the hope exhibitors from more than 10 countries, including the US, the UK, China, India, Pakistan and Japan, will take part in the exposition. The expo will not only create an opportunity for local apparel makers to display the unique aspects of their products, but also help them showcase their progress to the global community, they said.
