Velvet Jet, a developer and manufacturer of high quality inks, will introduce a new solution for digital textile printing at ITMA Milan. The showcase in hall 18, stand A-106 will present a new way for print shops to expand their business opportunities when providing solutions to the textile market. “The new ink will also allow garment manufacturers more versatility in their printing processes,” a press release from Velvet Jet stated. Velvet Jet made a strategic commitment to broaden its solution options, and to offer new solutions for the fashion, home decor and soft signage industries. According to the company, the textile industry is characterised by complex printing processes involving the need to use different types of inks and machinery for different applications. It added that Velvet Jet was created in order to support the textile industry with innovative products that will enable more versatile capabilities than currently available in the market. “Velvet Jet brings a new and a fresh approach for dealing with the current complexity of digital textile printing,” said Guy Evron, director of marketing at Velvet Jet. “Velvet Jet combines experience in ink development with experts from the textile industry in order to meet the industry’s’ needs for mass customisation of digital prints on textiles,” Evron added. “At our stand, visitors will experience new inks for textiles, creating a wide range of possibilities for the fashion, apparel, decorative and industrial textile applications,” he informed.
