A high-profile delegation of ICC Bangladesh, including its President Mahbubur Rahman, left Dhaka on Tuesday for Delhi to attend the 8th ICC Asia Pacific Regional Consultative Group Meeting. The other two member of the team are Vice President Latifur Rahman and Secretary General Ataur Rahman, says a press release. The meeting is scheduled to be held today (Wednesday) in Delhi. Latifur Rahman will also attend ICC Executive Board Meeting as its member. They will also attend India Economic Convention jointly organised by ICC and India Foundation in New Delhi on 17 September. ICC Bangladesh Executive Board Member Kutubuddin Ahmed, BGMEA President Atiqul Islam and Senior Vice President of BGMEA Faruque Hassan will also be attending the India Economic Convention. ICC Global Chairman and Chairman of McGraw Hill Financial Harold McGraw III, ICC First Vice Chairman and Founder and Chairman of Bharti Enterprises Sunil Bharti Mittal, business leaders from Asia and the Pacific Region are expected to attend the meeting. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is expected to deliver the valedictory address at the India Economic Convention, which will also be attended by the union minister of finance and a number of senior ministers of India. The theme of the Convention is: Architecture for Growth.
