The International Labour Organization (ILO) will launch a weekly Bangla-language radio show for workers titled ‘Amar Shram, Amar Odhikhar (My Labour, My Rights) to help create better understand of rights and responsibilities in the workplace. The weekly radio show will be inaugurated at Sonargoan Hotel in the capital about 3:30 pm on Thursday, but the weekly one-hour radio talk show will be launched on Radio Today on Friday, according to an ILO media release. In all, 16 episodes of the show are scheduled to be broadcast, each Friday at 5:00 pm. The radio show will be collaborated by the government of Bangladesh with the assistance of the government of Norway. Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, State Minister for Labour and Employment Mujibul Haque Chunnu, Labour and Employment secretary Mikail Shipar and country director of ILO Country Office for Bangladesh Srinivas B Reddy will present on the occasion.
