Textile machinery giant, Saurer, has announced the takeover of parts, service, and conversion business of Verdol, a part of the Reyes Groupe. Saurer business unit, Allma Volkmann, will run the parts and service of Verdol, according to a press release of Saurer Group. The deal is expected to provide a boost to the customer service on a wider base to the existing successful, and organised worldwide service network of the Saurer Group. The acquisition will make Allma Volkmann one of the world’s largest providers of original parts and services in the whole twisting segment. While, Reyes Groupe will give significance to its core business of energy markets and expand into new domestic and international markets, along with consolidating its existing position. Wolfgang Leupers, CEO of Allma Volkmann, said that he is proud that Christophe Reyes, owner of the Reyes Groupe, trusts Allma Volkmann to run their parts and service business and is expecting this to give an additional growth impulse as the synergies of both companies now can be fully utilised.
