A two-day exhibition of Indian export products and services will be held in Dhaka at the Ball Room of the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in November 28-29, said a news release. The India Expo 2015 is being organised by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations. Prime minister’s economic affairs adviser Mashiur Rahman will formally inaugurate the exhibition. Ninety-six delegates representing 53 companies from all over India will visit Dhaka in connection with the exhibition. The delegation will be led by Sri Ramesh Kumar Agarwal, vice-president and regional chairman, eastern region, FIEO. Deputy director general of FIEO Debdatta Nandwani will also come to Dhaka to attend the exhibition. The sectors that will be represented at the exhibition are footwear, agri and spices, textiles, furniture, packaging material, monobloc pumps, water treatment plant, plastic granules, environment monitoring system, medical testing systems auto parts, etc. Indian businessmen will hold business-to-business meetings with their Bangladesh counterparts at various levels with a view to enhancing bilateral business cooperation. The event is supported by the High Commission of India in Dhaka, the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Indo-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
