Several hundred workers of Fashion Craft Knitwear Ltd, located at Zamgora of Ashulia, formed a human chain on Dhaka-Tangail highway at Baipail of Ashulia in Dhaka on Wednesday, demanding immediate reopening of the factory. They continued their demonstration for the second consecutive day as the factory authorities decided to shut the factory for an indefinite period on Monday following their demonstration for five-point demand. At the human chain, the workers threatened the authorities that they would go for a tougher movement if the factory was not reopened immediately.
