Workers of a readymade garment factory staged demonstrations in Dakhshin Salna area of the city on Thursday demanding payment of their arrears. Police said the workers of Huda Wintry Fashion Limited took position in front of the gate of the factory in the morning and demanded payment of their unpaid salary of three months. Police resisted the agitated workers and brought the situation under control when they tried to vandalise the garment factory. Additional police have been deployed to avoid any untoward incident.
