Swedish multinational retail-clothing company H&M, one of the world’s largest fashion retailers famous for offering fashion-forward apparel at affordable prices in a sustainable way, has reached a milestone as it opened its 500th store in North America in Miami, the company said in a press release. The opening itself was grand with more than 500 shoppers and fashionistas gathering at the new store at Miami’s Dolphin Mall to be the first to shop as well as celebrate the new store with renowned actress and model, Jaime King. “Dolphin Mall is one of the most vibrant shopping destinations in the US,” said Daniel Kulle, US President for H&M. “It’s an important retail center that draws thousands of local customers and international visitors each year. We are so excited to be opening our 500th store in North America here and thrilled to have Jaime King cut the ribbon.” Guests who attended the event had the opportunity to be the first to view the location’s exciting design of the 33,000 square feet interior. Additional features include collections for ladies, men, young ladies, and young men with separate “store within a store” sections for accessories, lingerie, and beauty. The Dolphin Mall location also carries H&M’s children’s collection, from newborn to 14 years.
