Investors have been urged to invest in Ishwardi, Uttara and Mongla export processing zones (EPZs) as an investment-friendly atmosphere is existing there. General Manager of Adamjee EPZ Md Shah Alam Sarker said this while addressing an investment seminar arranged on Tuesday at Adamjee Export Processing zone (EPZ) to attract more investment in the three EPZs, said a statement. He said tax holiday, reduced rates for lands and factory building, including other logistic facilities and modern connectivity are playing important role in promoting investment at the three EPZs. Foreign and local investors of the enterprises of Adamjee EPZ and representatives of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) and Nazma Binte Alamgir, general manager (public relations), Maj Sajjad Hossain Khan, deputy general manager (Intelligence), Maj Taj Uddin Ahmed, security consultant cum executive of Adamjee EPZ, were present in the seminar, among others.
