SSM and SSM Giudici showed eight new products and a total of fourteen applications at their booth at ITMA 2015, while the new Xeno-platform, it said, attracted an extraordinary number of visitors. “At the trade show, SSM showcased new solutions for cost effective winding and yarn processing,” the Switzerland based company said in a press release. “Thanks to the new Digicone 2 winding algorithm, an increase of up to 20 per cent on dye package density with unchanged dye-recipes is possible,” it added. Six new product launches in the winding & doubling segments and two in false-twist & air-texturing were showed for the first time. Machines for dye package winding and rewinding; assembly winding; air texturing; false twist texturing; sewing thread finish winding and conventional covering were also on show. SSM further added that they were overwhelmed by the number of high quality visitors and many interesting discussions concerning open projects or about latest SSM-equipment were discussed. “The company was also able to conclude several orders at the show and once more the excellent reputation of SSM, as the market leader was acknowledged,” SSM informed. According to SSM, extremely strong interest was seen for the new Xeno-platform like the Xeno-YW, BW and FW for winding and Xeno-YD, BD and FD for assembly winding. The SSM Giudici TG2-AT & FT with individual automatic frontal doffer also received considerable buyer interest at ITMA, as well as the Duro-TW and TD for technical yarns as well as the TK2-20 CT and KTE for sewing thread. SSM also introduced the new X-Series which will be shown at ITMA Asia 2016 for dye package winding and rewinding and assembly winding as well as machines for air covering, draw winding and yarn singeing.
