Luxury group Kering, whose main leather-focused brands include Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Brioni and Balenciaga, has reported a 15.4% increase in revenues for 2015, reaching almost €11.6 billion. Net income for the period was €696 million, up 31.6% on the figure for the previous year. Commenting on the results, group chief executive, François-Henri Pinault, said: “Kering’s solid 2015 results reflect brisk sales and improved operating performances in the second half of the year. These results come amid a more complex economic and geopolitical environment, accentuating the shifts taking place in our sector.”
