Amyn Manji, co-Founder and MD, UVAR Global, organiser of IBFW, said, “Global fashion trends are finding its way into the Indian lifestyle with the new age consumer growing more fashion cognizant. Consumers are price sensitive and yet open to adopting new lifestyle changes, especially in travel and festive celebrations. Increasingly, destination weddings and theme parties are becoming part of our social culture and hence the beachwear or resort wear category also has seen a fillip in the recent times. With IBFW we hope to offer designers a platform to showcase talent and lead the conversation around resort fashion in the country.” Designer Varun Bahl will close the India Beach Fashion Week with his latest resortwear collection.
