The biennial election of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) for 2016-18 will be held on September 03. The BKMEA has formed Election Board chaired by former vice president of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) Mohammad Ali and Appeal Board chaired by Narayanganj Club Ltd president Mahmud Hossain, a statement issued by the association said. The other member of the Election Board are FBCCI director Prabir Kumar Saha and Narayanganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) director Rashed Sarwar, while Narayanganj Bar Association former senior vice president Masudur Rouf and Narayanganj Yarn Merchants Association president Liton Saha are members of the Election Appeal Board. According to the schedule, the last date for submission of documents of voter is July 10, while lists of primary and final voters will be published on July 14 and July 24 respectively, the statement said. Distribution of nomination will be held on July 25 to July 27 and the list of final candidates will be published on August 10.
