Suraiya Begum, Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and Major General Mohd Habibur Rahman Khan, Executive Chairman, Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA), seen signing an agreement at the conference room of PMO in the capital on Tuesday.Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) signed Annual Performance Agreement (APA) for the FY 2016-17.Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Principal Secretary of PMO was present in the signing ceremony. The APA is signed in order to make Bangladesh a middle-income country by implementing Vision-2021.Suraiya Begum, Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office and Major General Mohd Habibur Rahman Khan, Executive Chairman, BEPZA signed the agreement on behalf of their organisations, at the conference room of PMO on Tuesday. According to the APA of 2015-16, the organisations under the PMO were able to achieve 92.86 percent target in the first nine months of the FY16. BEPZA leads the way among the organisations by achieving 99.65 percent target.
