South Korea’s exports volume rose for two straight months through June despite a continued fall in exports in terms of value, central bank data showed on Monday.The exports volume index stood at 141.62 in June, up 3.9 percent from a year earlier, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK). It kept rising after a 5.9 percent increase in May, turning upward from a 3.3 percent decline in April, reports Xinhua.Chemical product exports volume surged 15.8 percent, with those for electronic products and precision machinery growing 9.4 percent and 5.8 percent respectively. But, exports volume for coal and oil products reduced 2.5 percent.
