Garment exporters are of the opinion that signing Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Britain would be easier to go through than in the case with European Union (EU) and hence, the Indian government should expedite the process.The exporters here have been looking forward for FTA with Britain due to its exit from EU. Moreover, FTA has been cited as an ‘imperative necessity’ by the exporters to offset the impact of the monetary and trade challenges arisen following the Britain’s exit from EU.
