The Inspection Subcommittee of Bangladesh National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention (BNACWC), Armed Forces Division (AFD), today inspected Hamid Fabrics Limited at Panchdona here, said a press release of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), reports the BSS. The aim of the inspection was to create general awareness in favour of production and uses of schedule chemicals for peaceful purpose as well as to implement Chemical Weapons (Prohibition) Act 2006, it said. The inspection team comprised of eight members including representative from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC), Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) and Executive Cell of BNACWC, the release added.
