Trade body leaders have urged the authority concerned to continue cargo handling and delivery activities in the Chittagong port during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. In an urgent letter to the chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) Md Nojibur Rahman, the president of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) Mahbubul Alam made the request. He said that the Chittagong Port handles over 92 per cent of the country’s total sea-borne trade.
