From now on the married workers of Uttara Export Processing Zone (EPZ), Nilphamari will be able to get the opportunity to receive free suggestion on family planning and also requisite contraceptives to maintain a healthy planned family life. The facility was inaugurated by ADC, Nilphamari, Mujibur Rahman as the chief guest today and presided over by General Manager of the EPZ Tanvir Hossain. Civil Surgeon, Nilphamari, Abdur Rashid and Deputy Director (Family Planning), Nilphamari, Afroza Begum were present on the occasion, among others. Sources said there are more than 30,000 employees in the EPZ out of which 20,000 are married. The office sources said the facility would be extended gradually to all the EPZ in the country.
