Chittagong Export Processing Zone (CEPZ) organised a free eye camp for its workers at the CEPZ hospital on Saturday, said a press release of Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authorities (BEPZA). About 300 workers of CEPZ were examined and given necessary treatment and medicines at free of cost. Among them 28 were selected for free surgery at Chittagong Lions Eye Hospital. The CEPZ organized the camp in association with Lions Club of Chittagong Voice. CEPZ General Manager Md. Khorshid Alam inaugurated the camp. District Governor of Lions Club International Shah Alam Babul and CEPZ Chief Medical Officer Dr. Abu Taslim also attended the programme. High officials of officials of Linos Club International and BEPZA were also present during the programme.
