Pragati Life Insurance Limited, SNV Netherlands Development Organization and TMSS jointly organised a “Worker Enrollment Festival” at three RMG factories recently. During the programme, Health Insurance Cards were distributed among the workers under a micro health insurance pilot project of Pragati Life Insurance. Senior Vice President of BGMEA Faruque Hassan was the Chief Guest of the programme. The joint initiative began with about 4,500 workers from three RMG factories at Gazipura in Tongi. The scheme offers cashless healthcare services of both outdoor and indoor for the insured workers through the adjacent health service provider TMSS Masuda Maternity & General Hospital. General Manager & Head of Operations SM Ziaul Hoque of Pragati Life Insurance Ltd. and Team Leader – Working with Women Project of SNV Farhtheeba Rahat Khan & Advisor – Inclusive Business Capacity Building of SNV Jamal Uddin along with other high officials from both the organisations and RMG factories namely Tanaz Fashions, EH Fabrics and Denim Fashions Ltd. were present on the occasion.
