Leathergoods And Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB) organized a Networking Dinner in courtesy of visiting delegates of Federal Association of German Footwear and Leather Goods Industry (HDS/L) recently at Six Seasons Hotel, Gulshan-2, Dhaka. LFMEAB maintains close contacts to different partner associations, and part of it LFMEAB met with Mr. Manfred Junkert, Chief Managing Director of HDS/L who is accompanied by Mr. Karl Borgschulze, Managing Director of Consulting Service International Ltd. (CSI), said a statement. Md. Saiful Islam, President of LFMEAB accompanied by its several members and industry insiders welcomed delegates of HDS/L and thanked for visiting Bangladesh. Mr. Islam informed overall recent progress of leather and footwear sector and appreciated focus attention of HDS/L such as sustainability and improved framework conditions. Mr. Manfred Junkert expressed their satisfaction on the overall progress of LFMEAB factories and pledged continued mutually beneficial engagements with LFMEAB under global sustainable supply chain initiative of Germany. He also appreciated skill development model of Centre of Excellence for leather Skill Bangladesh Ltd (COEL).Earlier, he has also visited PICARD Bangladesh Limited, Apex Footwear ltd, and Centre of Excellence for leather Skill Bangladesh Ltd (COEL).
