While some visitors from Bangladesh in Heimtextil 2017 in Frankfurt mentioned that there were less visitors over there in compared to another exhibition Premiere Vision held same time in same city, Bangladeshi exhibitors expressed satisfaction about order bookings and customer interaction.
Heimtextil 2017 begun in Frankfurt, Germany on 10th January and closed on 13th January, with host to over 2,963 companies from about 67 countries across the world including Bangladesh’s 23 companies. Numerous events were accompanying the fair and providing valuable stimulation in terms of design, trends and new textile products.
Aminul Abid from Shabab Fabrics Ltd., a Bangladeshi company exhibiting in Heimtextil 2017 mentioned that “We have got great response from the exhibition. Brands like Zara have put spot order where STC group reconfirmed shipment of 50 tons per month. We interacted with many other buyers in the exhibition.” While asked about the trend in the sector he added that “As a regular participant of Heimtextil, we observed that this year buyers were more quality conscious than price. Particularly for us buyers were emphasizing more on quality and on-time delivery. And as always we committed the both. Many of the buyers reviewed our performance and reconfirmed their orders for new year.”
Heimtextil is one of the biggest and most important international trade fairs for home and contract textiles and the first trade fair of the year.
