A two-day Denim Expo to brand Bangladeshi denim products to the world ended on Tuesday with a huge response from the local and international buyers and visitors related with the sector.Bangladesh Denim Expo organised the fair at the Bashundhara International Convention City (ICCB) in the capital with the participation of 58 organisations from 12 countries while 9 companies from Bangladesh.Those countries were Bangladesh, China, Turkey, Spain, Italy, Pakistan, Japan, San Marino, Germany, Brazil, India and Hong Kong displayed their products.Organisers claimed that above 5500 visitors including 1029 company’s representatives from 52 countries visited the expo.This edition was held with the theme “Denim Networks” will highlight the importance of the increasingly developed long-term relationships with the retailers and brands.Talking to daily sun, during the expo, participants from home and abroad expected the expo on denim products will help to add value to the apparel industry as it brought people around the globe under one network.Praising the initiative, GREENBACK NY CEO Mohammad A. Haleem Ghouri told the daily sun that it is really a great job of the Bangladesh Denim Expo to initiate networking Bangladeshi denim producers among the world.Nassa Group marketing director Shohel Rana told daily sun that it is really a great job done by of the Bangladesh Denim Expo with international standard, today sector players are waiting for this event.Bangladesh apparel Exchange and Bangladesh Denim Expo CEO Mostafiz Uddin told daily sun there is no alternative to doing any business without networking, so that we chosen the theme “Denim Networks” for this edition.
