No one has been allowed to stay in front of the temporary altar for long. Six years ago, on April 24, 2013, around 1,138 people lost their lives in the tragic incident, but justice is yet to be served.Two cases—one under the penal code filed on charges of killing over 1,000 people, and another for violating building codes—were filed over the incident. The trials both cases are yet to begin.
