H.E. Mr. Ilkhom Khaidarov Utkurovich, Chairman (with status of a Cabinet Minister) of “Uztekstilprom”, Association of Enterprises of the Textiles of the Republic of Uzbekistan and also former Ambassador of Uzbekistan visited Bangladesh Embassy on 11 July 2021 at 17.00 in order to discuss important bilateral issue with Bangladesh Ambassador H.E. Mr. Md Zahangir Alam.
Bangladesh Ambassador requested him to extend his cooperation to help Bangladesh Foreign Minister’s upcoming visit to Uzbekistan a success.
Ambassador of Bangladesh also requested the Chairman to prepare and send a draft MOU to pave the way for Bangladesh entrepreneurs to set up textile industries or start joint ventures in Uzbekistan. The Chairman agreed to the proposal and assured to send a draft MOU soon.
