As per a press release issued in this direction recently, application for the competition — the competition is part of the ‘Stitch for RMG’ pilot project undertaken by BRAC and H&M Foundation with its goal to create an environment to advance women welfare, secure their livelihood and boost Bangladesh’s performance in the RMG industry — is open to be submitted by 25 November 2021.

Six winners each will, reportedly, receive a fund of up to US $ 30,000 for pilot implementation while in addition to the grant money, the winning ideas will also receive incubation support even as innovators from around the world are welcome to submit viable solutions incorporating these key issues, while entrepreneurs can submit ideas matching one of the five thematic areas, which are product design, diversification and raw material; automation and efficiency; sustainability and circular fashion; skill development and women’s career and enabling environment.
