Country representatives of the world’s leading brands met with the leaders of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) to discuss the potential of the apparel industry. They met Miran Ali, Vice President of BGMEA at BGMEA Complex in Uttara, Dhaka on August 23.

During this time, they discussed the possibility of business expansion and how to increase the competitiveness of Bangladesh. They also discussed various issues related to the garment industry of Bangladesh.
BGMEA Vice President Miran Ali briefed the industry and BGMEA key priorities for capacity building to the representatives of renowned brands.
Local representatives of international clothing brands including world-famous brands H&M, Inditex, PVH, El Corte Inglés, Kontoor and VF Corporation along with other international clothing brands were present.
Md. Imranur Rahman, Director, BGMEA was also present at the meeting.
