Md Abdul Kader Khan has been elected president of Bangladesh Garments Accessories and Packaging Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGAPMEA) for the period of 2016-17. The election took place at the 25th annual general meeting of the association held recently in the city, according to the BGAPMEA. Taslimuddin Chowdhury, Moazzem Hossain Moti, Nazimuddin Chowdhury and Hasanul Karim Tamiz have also been elected first vice-president, second vice-president, vice-president and vice-president (finance) respectively. Annual report for the year of 2015 and audit report were placed and approved in the meeting, the association said.
