Superbrands is a well-known global authority in the realm of branding, operating across 90 countries worldwide. The selection process of brands is conducted by independent and voluntary panels of experts from diverse backgrounds, referred to as the “Brand Council”.

This process adheres to global standards and involves several stages to recognize only the most exceptional brands in various segments. The criteria considered during the selection process include brand heritage, relevance within the category, perceived quality and performance, and top-of-mind awareness.

The highest-scoring brands are invited to receive the coveted Superbrands status. After meeting all the necessary requirements, they are eventually recognized as the Superbrands of their respective country.

According to Shariful Islam, the Managing Director of Superbrands Bangladesh, a brand that consistently delivers quality products and services over an extended period builds trust with consumers. This trust, when built over time, transforms a brand into a Superbrand.
